      Used to be a great company but now fish market

      Pros

      Hungama in media industry and had some great content. It can do lot with this content to be market leader.

      Cons

      Company is meant to be built web products. But the product heads and PMO - project management office completely lack the skills required to innovate and create successful people. Lack of innovation. Product head briefs the team to deliver a new product by listing random features from multiple portals. Absence of people management skills, a PMO who is neither trained nor trained for technology wants to instruct programmers bypassing the tech lead. Lack of effort estimate, PMO will commit timelines to product head directly leaving the programmers to work through many nights.

      1. Used to be a great environment despite presence of a few fools 2. Had a lot of potential for engineers to prove themselves

      Cons

      1. Technology team is extremely frustrated since last 4 months when management hired lot of idiots into technology team 2. The new CTO does NOT understand technology and practises only politics 3. CTO has hired few senior jokers who do not understand how to handle team and obey him blindly 4. Lot of people have resigned since January 2013 because of this frustration

      - A very young and talented bunch of people - Very influential contacts which can help develop good products and can give good opportunity to grow into VAS or B2C market

      Cons

      - Dependency on Sole Content Partner for Bollywood - No Policies, No processes in place, Senior Management doesn't have a clear objective in which way to go. - Product team works without any strong business proposition - No individual KRA's - Take up unnecessary projects/loss making projects just to satisfy operators
