Pros

Good office location in Bentall 5.

Cons

The partners try to explain their insane turnover by saying it's a challenging and demanding work environment. The reality is that, because the partners have no idea what they're doing, they're unable to communicate to their employees what they need done and what expectations are. There is so much waste at this company. I'd estimate about 80% of the employees are just struggling to appear busy so that they can collect a pay cheque until they are able to find a job elsewhere. Most employees are very unhappy to be here and are looking to escape the extremely toxic work environment.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review and we are truly sorry to hear this was your experience. We are absolutely committed to listening to our people and welcome feedback. Doing so, whether through employee surveys, ongoing manager/employee feedback, bi-weekly all staff townhalls, our anonymous Intranet question box, or through our HR and Executive teams, has led to many positive changes over the last couple of years. We have been an organization experiencing a high level of growth, which presents a unique set of challenges. While we did experience a period of high turnover in the past, we are pleased to say we have achieved a rate of standard industry turnover now, directly as a result of listening to and implementing feedback from our people. We have made many positive changes, including the implementation of an executive team to provide corporate culture oversight, yearly employee engagement surveys, coaching for senior leaders, the implementation of a project management organizational structure, a learning and development budget for each staff member, laptops for all staff members, significant upgrades to our IT infrastructure and cloud-based systems, and a culture that embraces a healthy work/life balance mindset, including a flexible approach to remote work. Change can take time, and we want to make sure we get it right for our valued team members. In order to understand your frustrations further, we invite you to reach out directly to our HR or Executive team members in confidence at any time. Thank you for being a part of our team and we wish you success in your career.

Pros

Some people are great ESGI committee - seems like the company wants to do better in the future

Cons

Very micromanaging Extremely high turnover rate throughout the company due to some toxic employees Higher executives and HR seem to be aware of those toxic managers but refuse to do anything about it Lack of procedures and structure Everything has to start from scratch year after year because most people leave within their first 12 to 18 months of employment and no procedures ever get created. Very chaotic.
