Pros

I got to learn how fast they work to sell.

Cons

They told me I have a job after I give birth but when I wrote to them after 3 months of maternity, wanting to come back to work, they ignored my emails and calls. Basically I lost the job because they ghosted me. This is plain discrimination. During my time working there, I was pregnant. They’ve also bullied me by having other people do my job without notice. They were simply pushing me out of my job. I didn’t realize fully that they were doing that until I was ignored when I wanted to come back to work later.

Pros

An awesome company, creative and digital, at the leading edge of Digital, Agile and Design thinking. Supportive leadership, innovative, growing. Positive and lively social environment. Highly skilled colleagues doing great work for major brands. Collaborative and supportive. Fast paced with regular working hours. It's very rare to work weekends or after 6pm. Great place to learn and grow. Dogs and Bicycles in the office in Richmond.

Cons

It's hard to get in. The technical interviews can be bruising to your ego. Fakers and lazy, mediocre people are not tolerated. There were redundancies when a major client closed down a large team.

Pros

There were times when IE was a magical place to work. Even through Covid we worked in interesting projects and clients (once out of the worst of it) and the leaders made sure that the team felt connected and trusted. A lot was invested in my growth and development and my lead in CX through 2020 to 2022 really helped me to understand my skills, my strengths and to grow.

Cons

When IE is good it's so good. But when it's bad it really is bad. Since mid 2022 there were significant changes in leadership. I'm not sure what actually happened with the former CEO and COO but it appears they were forced out by the founder coming back into the business. Disappointing because they brought stability trust and consistency and the the founder and his new leaders (who appear to be driven by a desire to say yes to anything the founder says) seem to give little care for consistency, trust and a compelling strategy. There is a weird dynamic particularly from the CFO of control.
