LACKS INTEGRITY

Pros

Wise individuals use INVISTA as a stepping stone, staying no longer than needed to locate a better job. Turnover is high, so INVISTA always has job openings.

Cons

INVISTA lacks integrity in dealing with its employees. The company says it will pay employees bonuses that are earned, however, the incentive compensation program almost never pays out below the director level. The company says it does not age discriminate, yet it systematically eliminates people over 50. No employee has a documented development plan as it is easier to fill open positions from the outside. People lose jobs due to reduction in force one function, only to see new hires announced in that same function later in the same week. Rarely are employees offered to relocate, as a way to save their job, and if they are offered relocation, are often told the cost of relocation will be on the employee. When released from the company the employee is typically walked out the same afternoon they are terminated.

Pros

Only good thing were benefits.

Cons

No strategy. High turnover of people except for top management who are watching each other's back. Business struggling to survive. Every month a chess game. You need to be careful that your not someone's pawn being sacrificed. Stay clear

Cons

* Lack of understanding and ability to implement KOCH MBM philosophy properly * confused management * Performance bonus is non existant even though they hammer you for it all year * very high employee turnover * unreliable process equipment * aging plant (40+ yrs) * slow to reward hard work * ignore obvious signs of equipment failures * try to make operators be maintenance, maintenance be E/I and E/I be operators (diluting expertise) * Promote out of desperation * do not listen to wage role * most of the Engineers have less than 2 years experience due to high engineer turn over * minimal investments into unit equipment (patch, clamp, look away) * sink or swim environment (no mentoring) * lack of adequate training programs * run plant with known process leaks and expect employees to turn a blind eye
