Pros
Provided something to write onto a resume and gave me something to do outside of school.
Cons
There wasn't much to learn. Worked on several aspects of their platform and it was trying to write code with redone methods of already basic features of the programming language. If a consumer of their platform was writing their own scripts all it did was make it more difficult with less documentation and resources at their disposal.
