      Low pay, no work life balance, no growth, disheartening.

      Pros

      The people are honestly really friendly and lovely. Always welcoming, up for a great chat and willing to try almost anything to help the company succeed.

      Cons

      The pay is really low for what you have to do. Producers are constantly stressing and being put on 20 day production cycles before moving onto a new event. There is barely any growth in the company unless you work in sales. Work life balance is awful. You work 8:30 to 5:30 and they're not open to letting you work from home. When they close up the office over the holidays, you're forced to cover that with your annual leave otherwise you don't get paid. It's also disheartening to see everyone working to try and produce events but not seeing them take off. Some events have no more than 8 attendees.

      Pros

      I wish I could say some something kind here. Most of the people were nice.

      Cons

      This is a terrible company to work for. They churn through staff and pay well below market average for similar roles. Even more concerning is the reputation of the company. When I tried to more to another role in another company they seemed concerned that I worked at IQPC and would not have the adequate skills to get the job done. Do yourself a favour and don’t work here.

      Pros

      IQPC has a great culture and is by far the best place I have worked. It is an intellectually demanding role, but the support given by team leaders and other departments help you to rise to the challenge. The range of conference topics ensures no month is the same, continually advancing your intellect and ability to produce interesting and relevant agendas. A huge focus at IQPC is topic generation and to come up with fresh, topical issues that will perform well in providing solutions for a range of industries. This is a highly satisfying aspect as it adds that extra dimension to the role. All departments get on really well and there is an excellent 'team' atmosphere, not to mention a lot of celebration of success!

      Cons

      While I cant actually think of any cons to working here off the top of my head, I have to submit 20 words minimum - so I would say the fast turnaround time of agendas (while it's not at all achievable) is something most are likely to struggle with.
