I have been working at IQVIA full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Cons

Global team, which means communication is affected by the different time zones.

I have been working at IQVIA full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Opportunities to laterally move from clinical into commercial type roles. Vertical growth (i.e. promotion) may take place faster for deserving employees depending on the business unit they are in. Work-from-home privilege is top notch in this company. There are a couple of extra paid company holidays on top of the standard 20-day annual leave. Set-up in St Leonards is good as it has a standard feature of 2 computer screens in most desks, which is helpful when reviewing a number of e-documents.

    Cons

Not a lot of growth in clinical roles within Australia and New Zealand as people/project management positions are limited in the sub-region. Consequently, the majority number of CRA/SSU Specialists do not go beyond a senior level. However, it seems to be the case with the CRO sector as a whole and not just IQVIA. Also, salary is not in line with benchmark rates and a number of clinical staff move externally to improve remuneration packages.
