- Early during negotiations, my recruiter tried to trick me about the salary range that I had already sent to them in writing. - Their recruiters do not operate in a professional manner. For example: they did not know the details of the position that was offered to me. - A few months into working, a different recruiter of theirs tried to recruit me, ALREADY an employee of the company. - My first pay arrived late and there were a lot of complaints from other employees about their pay as well. - The company's (supposed) IT security training material had the name and logo of a US state, which could only mean they took a state government's training material without the latter's consent. - Their corporate service functions, such as payroll, asking for vacation days balance, etc. needed prompting / questioning from the contractor employee. Contrast this to other companies that I worked for in Canada those basic services are automatic and do not need any prompting / questioning from the employee. - When the contract between the company and the client was over, the manager avoided taking phone calls from me and deflected to the HR department instead. - When the contract was over there was no exit interview, i.e. the company does not solicit outgoing employees' opinions on how they could operate better as a business.
