Pros

ITWorx has several offices; this review is more concerned with the US office, based in Connecticut, USA. If you are going to work offshore, developing software in Cairo, you're going to work at one of the best software houses in Egypt. Not perfect, but very decent people, with senior management who are doing their best to steer the company for growth, and at the same time, grow their employees. They don't pay top-tier salaries anymore, but people are compensated in non-monetary ways when extra effort is put in. If you plan on working onsite, in the US office, the only 'Pro' worth mentioning is that everyone is treated in the same way (i.e the cons below apply to all resources working in the US office). For more details, read below.

Cons

This section is aimed at stating the shortcomings of the US office, based in Connecticut, USA: - No advancement opportunities (no career growth) - Very low pay grade (well below market average) - Short-sighted senior management, only looking for a quick buck (even from its own employees) - There's no organization hierarchy, no plan & no policies (contrary to what management will try to convince you). It's up to you to get what you can, when you still can. - Senior management think they're smarter than all employees (a theory that keeps back-firing every single time, and they still haven't learned the lesson) - The only company in the market asking its employees for a 4-week leave notice, when the market-standard is 2 weeks, sometimes less. The cons stated above have been prevailing for the past 8+ years. Senior management will gladly hold town-hall meetings and round tables to convince employees that issues are being / will be addressed. Nothing happens.
