Pros

The hourly rate is acceptable and somewhat generous than other retail brands. Comission was also acceptable when your store receieved traffic.

Cons

I have never worked for a brand that was as young minded, ignored their retail employee’s needs, lacked communication, and created work environments that were toxic and uncomfortable as Illesteva has.

Pros

Company gives employees store credit for glasses throughout the store if daily goals are met. Somewhat flexible hours for emergencies.

Cons

Very uncomfortable environment with “co workers”. Pretentious employees that has the conception that they are better than everyone else on board. Always felt as if I was in competition within our own TEAM. A lot of gossiping and throwing each other under the bus. Cutting hours without any form of communication or notice but still expected to receive the same dedication.

small, tight knit company, great collaborations, unique product , great work/life balance

Cons

poor communication, very little room for growth, health benefits are not great & costly, no paid vacation for FT employees, Office employees and specifically the retail director are very young and inexperienced when it comes to store-level management and issues.
