Pros
I have worked at ImplantBase for almost two years and have felt valued, integral, motivated and purposeful the entire time. The company has a clear vision that is communicated to its employees. Every employee’s work fits into this overall vision, while also accounting for each individual’s personal strengths and career ambitions.
The company culture is very light-hearted and collaborative, while also having high standards for efficiency, quality, and innovation -resulting in high productivity and development, without the heavy stress and toxicity that can sometimes be associated with a software tech start-up. They promote work-life balance, and I get the overall feeling that they see their employees as people, not just “human resources”.
ImplantBase takes their employee’s professional development very seriously, and you know when you leave the company you will be both better off in your career and have had the chance to make an impact during your time there.
Outside of my experience working at ImplantBase, I really appreciate the product itself and getting to work with it.
Cons
Employees must have a lot of initiative and demonstrate solid work, which is not great for "coasters".
The size of the company means there is sometimes a need for team members to work outside the scope of their role which is not ideal for people who prefer a static day-to-day work life or are not multi-faceted.
It can be fast-paced and demanding, by virtue of the industry.
