      Pros

      Good pay, good medical benefits, camaraderie, an interesting experience every once in a while.

      Cons

      Corrupt leadership in the state headquarters. Very many leaders within that have issues with sexual harassment issues. Too many people who are in leadership roles based on their cutthroat tactics.

      Pros

      Excellent Professional Environment with ability to serve in positions of greater importance that will increase your marketability after retirement. US Army pay scale drives salary. Soldiers and Civilians work side by side and strive for excellence in all things.

      Cons

      Very hard to find entry level Commissioned Officer position without willingness to relocate to that area of the state. Pyramid rank structure implies future promotions are not based on current location. Many AGR Officers will travel from Home of Record to Duty Station on average of 1- 1.5 hours per day.
