Pros

Every employee is finally allowed a laptop and ability to be a little flexible with working from home when need be. Being a large organisation, it provides opportunity to mingle with other teams and grow network. Lots to learn on the job on your own, excellent for self starters .

Cons

Ability to buy coffee for manager and partake in the game of politics is regarded higher than any other skill. Tech company but slow to adapt technology internally and have to beg IT Team to give us a wireless mouse. Lack of structured on-boarding process as no one takes responsibility. No manager/HR is at all concerned with career growth and development.

Pros

Ingram Micro (Australia) is a poorly-run, traditional box-moving distribution company, trying to be something it is not.

Cons

Poor management, lack of strategy and vision, unrelenting demand of owners does not allow any improvement, constant cost-cutting.

Just a terrible company

Pros

By its nature, the size and momentum of Ingram generates business, so unskilled and/or lazy people can easily pretend to be achieving in their job

Cons

Weak and listless leadership, unbelievably political, horrendous HR, strategically bereft at every level of the business. Mid-level management all yes men/women. So many internal problems absolutely no thought given to the customers.
