Pros

I am only filling out the pros because I cannot submit my post without doing so. I guess one pro is the fact that in an MLM company by theory you should be able to move up but it is not at all easy not rewarding because there will always be someone above you that you are making money for.

Cons

This is strictly an MLM “business” aka pyramid selling. You WILL NOT MAKE MONEY but rather make money for whoever is above you. Their revenue is pulled by their sales people or “entry level managers” ( or whatever they tell you). You will work strictly on “commission based wages” which means you will hardly see any genuine profit from what you sell. They only way you can make a decent income is by bringing in people under you, which is how the pyramid forms. Although this form of selling is not deemed illegal (yet) it is a huge waste of time and a pathetic business startup; it’s basically short cutting your way into the industry to make money. It’s sad because they pull in new comers and take advantage of them. they make you believe that you have an opportunity to grow within an ethical respectable business but will never include you on what the business truly is. To make sure you are in-fact being interviewed for a legitimate position (not some made up high level role that will change) ASK QUESTIONS. The first red flag to a company like this is they are very vague and have a scripted like interview response. Ask firmly about wages, the history of the company, who their direct clients are, and what the exact job duties and responsibilities are. In every position you take there will be training, but in no legitimate respectable company do they only tell you your title you will be selected for in “orientation”. Also, notice the questions you are being asked: Are they professional? Are they interested in your prior work experience/credentials? Are they taking note of your references? MOST IMPORTANTLY are they answering YOUR questions? Is there office space ? An actual receptionist? And operating business licenses you can see hanging on the wall? Remember if you feel in your gut somethings wrong DONT overlook it. Most importantly if indeed you do find out they’re not an honest company report and share it doesn’t happen to someone else. These “marketing strategies” may work for the owner but it only does so by overworking and exploiting people. They make money by not providing a salary or wage.

Pros

Fun people, great sales training, occasional road trips, weekly team nights, business professional dress code, thats all the Pro's I can think of for now.

Cons

Working every single weekend, long hours, no benefits, high turnovers most likely due to low pay. No real career advancement. Ultimately it's a MLM. Not a pyramid sceme.

Hello reviewer, thank you for providing your feedback. During orientation, we provide information such as additional information about the role, schedule and compensation; since it is an entry level role, it's hourly or uncapped comissions. This is an entry level retail sales position, and you must understand that weekends are the busiest days for us. We provide extensive hands on training to our team and also understand that sales is not for everyone. Career advancement is ultimately up to you. It is unfortunate that you felt this way. We wish you luck with your endeavors!

Pros

If you are confident at approaching customers who usually aren't interested in the product and selling then you can make money You get paid after installation Commission is big but only after installations complete

Cons

This job is a commission only paycheck With a draw system Which means they will pay whatever u owe to them for your hourly pay for the week but you will have to pay then back that money on top of your commission hourly goal You can dig yourself deep in the draw

Hello reviewer, thank you for providing your feedback! We are saddened to hear that you had a less than favorable experience with us, as we greatly value our team members. While review boards offer you an opportunity to voice your feelings, they do little to remedy the situation. We do go over the compensation structure during orientation, and it seems like you are a little confused with our compensation structure. We do offer hourly or uncapped commissions. If you had taken the time to speak with Human Resources perhaps we could have offered further clarification or answered any questions you had. It's a shame that you had trouble interacting with our customers, retail sales is not for everyone. We feel partly responsible and will review our training regimen and systems to ensure that we can provide our team members with the right support/resources. We also value quality service for our clients and customers. To us our service doesn't just stop at the sale, we ensure that the customer is taken care of all the way until installation. Installation on average occurs within 48 hours or by the end of the sale week. This is why we choose to pay commissions after installation, to ensure that we have provided the highest service to our clients. Again, it is unfortunate that you felt this way. Please feel free to reach out to our Human Resources during office hours if you have any further questions or concerns. We wish you luck in your endeavors!
