      Pros

      Great colleagues and lovely working culture, beautiful new office (which was much, much needed), interesting and varied projects, genuine opportunity. Honestly, a brilliant place to work.

      Cons

      Judging by some of the recent(ish) reviews, overwork has clearly been a problem for some on some of the transformation-side projects. However, there's been a real effort from the company to address these issues from a resource point of view, as well as provide the right support and L&D. I think there are always going to be some teething problems in a company growing at such pace - but the last few reviews have certainly not been my experience of working here.

      1. Some colleagues really care about their work. Trying to make a real difference. 2. There’s a strong can-do attitude across the junior team. 3. A few leaders are well-respected in the sector. 4. A good environment to build resilience and work at pace. 5. Solid IT setup – laptop and phone provided. 6. Opportunities for non-UK nationals are available and supported.

      Cons

      1. Leadership lacks transparency and accountability. 2. Hardly any real benefits on offer. No competitive package for the market. 3. The office wasn’t fit for focused work or meetings. 4. Consulting contracts were repetitive and uninspiring. 5. Juniors were often left carrying work load. 6. Bonuses were minimal to non-existent.

      Exciting place to work but some growing pains

      Pros

      Being part of a company’s growth journey is exciting and I have learnt more in my time at ICC than I did in the years I spent at my previous firm. ICC does not go in for identikit approaches which does make projects more challenging but gives space to really creative if stretching work. I haven’t had the experience with management expressed in other reviews, who I have found to be supportive but empowering - giving space for development & leadership opportunities. Colleagues are welcoming with diverse experiences which is always interesting to learn from.

      Cons

      Internal communications could be better, there have been times when the company has shot itself in the foot by not being clear, especially around progression. There has also been a cautiousness around recruitment which has led to real issues with overwork for some members of the team, which needs addressing. The office is a bit of a greenhouse but luckily we are soon moving to somewhere with more space.
