Pros

Pay and benefits are decent.

Cons

The lack of HR at this company allows for a very toxic and stressful work environment with little to no boundaries. They treat staff like they are easily replaceable and unvalued. This includes speaking to staff in an inappropriate and unprofessional manner with no repercussion. If you raise concerns you will be belittled by upper management. There are no clear job descriptions or expectations. Due to high turnover, it's difficult to receive good training or feel comfortable in your duties. For providers, rounding and on-call is often stressful because the schedule is not followed - especially on weekends. You will be expected to pick up the weekends the surgeons are not there, regardless of how little time in advance you are notified. The systems in place are extremely inefficient and lead to errors, some affecting patient care. Very strong focus on profit. In addition, their social media presence is often prioritized over other duties. You will be expected to participate in their many forms of social media regardless of if you want to.

Pros

The pay is decent , with opportunity for annual increases

Cons

The first sign that this company was perpetuating a toxic work environment was the lack of an HR department. Further, higher management does not care about the concerns of their staff, always brushing them aside with no long lasting solutions or minimizing the issue. Staff also have to often taken on more then they initially planned for. It is definitely not worth your time to invest in a company who does not care about their employees or the problems that arise in their day to day work.

Pros

The clinical supervisor was the backbone of this clinic, but she is leaving. Hopefully the company will find someone as wonderful as her. Good pay. Decent hours. Some lovely patient success stories.

Cons

The level of mentorship promised was not available after a mass exodus of employees, which included some key staff and providers. The current providers do not usually have enough time to thoroughly assess patient concerns. Clinical assistants and front desk staff are overworked and undervalued.
