Pros

For the most part, the technician and front desk staff do a good job. Good attitudes and work hard.

Cons

The owner of the practice creates chaos in his management style. It is very difficult to work under. When I quit, he threatened me by stating that he would not pay me out my PTO which is a big no no per NY State law. He did eventually pay me out. Then, he stiffed me on my final pay check - underpaid me by a significant amount. I wouldn't recommend any vet trust their license at this place.

Pros

Great team! Work great together!

Cons

Owner is greedy. He doesn’t care about his employees or pets, he’s only out for money! He over works the staff and will try to get as many patients in the building , with minimal staff. Heartless! Doesn’t even interact with the pets, he has no compassion. Only looking for the next buck. He has no animal experience at all and does not no know ohs to run a hospital. The turnover rate for this place is very high! Do not work here! Coming from an experienced professional

Dear "Former Lead Vet Technician" and Glassdoor community, As an owner and leader of a growing veterinary practice in NYC, i will be first to admit that i'm not a perfect manager. To protect the privacy of our staff, we cannot legally comment or elaborate further on employee terminations. However, as of today, we are proud to elevate a highly experienced LVT into a management role, who is widely respected by her colleagues at InstaVet for over 3 years and possesses real leadership skills and a strong work ethic. I welcome anyone to come by any weekday ( on weekends i'm busy being a father of 2 boys and a 2 month old girl) and ask for the owner for a tour and i'll gladly show you how we treat our employees and clients alike! Spread the word! Eli

Pros

Decent pay and that's literally it.

Cons

Everyone's ego on the administrative side is bigger than the ability to put the animals health and quality of care first. There's alot of talk about improving culture but it seems to be alot of gaslighting and the turnover rate since the new manager has been hired is extremely reflective of that. Take every word with as much salt your blood pressure can handle and only take a gig there if it's per-diem. Proceed with caution!
