Pros

- Some of the staff were lovely - although anyone who values their mental health had the good sense to leave. - Shared office space was super nice, often with free breakfasts. - Great location and hybrid working allowed. - Occasional socials.

Cons

- Unparalleled levels of anxiety, can genuinely say I've never felt so worthless and stressed in a job – particularly one that was below my experience level. - Interview tasks took about 5 years off my life, crazy amount of work for a junior role (and the salary!) - this should've been enough to send me running. - Micro-manager central! I genuinely felt sick turning up to work each day as I constantly felt I was doing something wrong. Often being asked to hop on calls at random points of the day to give updates, questioned whenever my Teams icon went yellow or if I took too long going to the bathroom (often to cry!) ... I could honestly go on and on and on about this. - Onboarding process was truly terrible – I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing and was made to feel like an idiot for asking questions on things that were just never explained. - Workload was next level – and there was no margin for error! This was an assistant/junior level role but the output expected was that of a midweight/senior. I was made to feel useless for not being able to keep up, constantly being patronised saying that "it's not that hard" and i'm "too soft" - BIG boomer energy, the word "snowflake" was thrown around far too liberally. If you want to question your worth and career path, this is the place for you! It takes a very specific (dare I say masochistic?) person to work here. A shame as the work has the potential to be really interesting.

Pros

Nice co working office, can work from home some of the time, nice events.

Cons

Management extremely micro managing creating a culture of distrust. Staff don't stay. Things chop and change at the drop of a hat and you don't know if you are coming or going. Pay is low for London. Staff often crying because of management which borders on bullying. Often receive Teams messages at all hours, constantly feel like you're doing something wrong. Doesn't matter how hard you work or the hours you put in, it is never recognised and you're always wrong. Management will throw you under the bus, access your emails ((!!!)). Expected to travel long distances for events but never given time off in lieu or allowed even a later start - just constantly calls people 'snowflakes' if they are struggling or need rest. Not sure what's going on with sales as no sales people left and advertising revenue is woefully low. No career opportunities. Before I left I was having sleepless nights and speaking to my GP about depression and anxiety I was experiencing from working here.
