Pros

Mentorship and access to senior staff; launching pad to high-impact policy careers or grad schools; opportunities to publish; opportunities to attend conferences and forums and exclusive Dialogue-hosted galas and conferences; exposure to LAC policy dialogue

Cons

Limited career progressions within the institution for people who enter as very junior staff. The typical path is to advance from Program Assistant to Program Associate, but after that, acquiring manager-level experience is difficult without more education or experience.
