      Not all managers are ethical

      Pros

      Great pay. Some of the upper level management actually cares.

      Cons

      Some lower and mid-level managers expect you to do unethical things/Medicare fraud. Like most therapy companies that provide rehab in SNFs, the almighty $$$ is king.

      This is a very concerning post as I would expect any employee to report suspected fraud to our Compliance Department, or their supervisor at the very least. We offer anonymous reporting as well and this is covered in the new hire orientation so all staff are aware of their options. It concerns me greatly that this behavior was suspected by this individual and it was not reported. Regardless, we have instituted internal controls to monitor and investigate potential unethical practices. Thank you for sharing your concerns.

      Pros

      Accomodating. You can call some people in the management past 7 pm. Good first time job after licensure.

      Cons

      Unethical company. They have a DOR who works 7 days a week, with full 8 hrs during weekends and stays only max of 3 hrs on the job. Works 7 days/wk, 4wks/month. Management supports this practice. Company also limits outside perdiem employees since they send their own therapists to other buildings covering patient hours but not under overtime pay. They offer gray area solutions to problems encountered, always playing safe, dont really discipline difficult staff. Also speaking foreign language most of the time in their facilities.

      I live in America, which gives me the freedom to never have to work for them.

      Unprofessional recruiters, disorganized upper management, underhanded hiring practices.
