The managers of tech department are all in India and they have a strong tendency to hire in India instead of Auckland. A typical story these days: they screwed up, we kept the lights on, at the end they took the credit of cutting cost and get shxt done. Most of talented people either have left or are leaving. Personally I don't recommend anyone to come at this point even if you're paid crazy money. There's no job security, very limited career growth. And expect to work in multiple(US, NZ, India) timezones from time to time. There's also a consistent change of priorities and requirements from different departments. In general it feels like the company has no idea how to compete/grow, neither does it care about treating people fairly.

Worst toxic environment that I have worked. Incompetent managers on different levels. No recognition, No career path. Asked to work over hours. Colleagues are made redundant in favor of poor outsourcing. HR is hiding the problem since years and no action is taken.
