Pros

The people and brands were all fun to work with, I was personally treated wonderfully by my coworkers. It’s a great place for a short term internship, but not a nice way to advance your career. If I could give a separate rating for the people and the environment, I would give 5/5

Cons

The company structure and style is very lacking. Very poor management. If you want to be taken seriously and listened to, this is not the place for you. The brands exist to generate revenue, and your personal development matters very little.

Pros

At IB (HelloBody, Banana Beauty & Mermaid+Me) the only pros you can find are: - some remote work - free products - nice colleagues (but wait to get attached to them as the company seems to have fun in hiring people and then fire them after 2 months) It is maybe good for a first internship or junior position (but don't stay too long as the learning curve is pretty flat).

Cons

On a professional level, pretty much everything. As mentioned before, learning curve is very flat, there are zero trainings, there is zero feedback culture, managers speed in circles trying out the same strategies and offers (which are not really working) over & over again. You feel like you're throw back to high school (majority of the employees haven't left them so long before joining the company though) where you need to watch out to say anything as otherwise you might be kicked out at the next good occasion. There's no transparency, no strategy, no long-term vision, zero branding. Top managers are too unskilled and incompetent for the positions they have. Unless you want to do an internship (but don't expect too much as well as your "superior" might have just finished theirs) or you're in extreme need of a job, avoid this company. You deserve better!
