Pros
Doctors- they are amazing! Basic staff are amazing and super close with each other. Pay is good for a clinic Hours of clinic are great.
Cons
Micromanagement-continually being told by my manager what to do and how to do it. I am a very educated individual and a quick learner. Once I know how to do something I do not need someone standing over my shoulder and stating that each and everything little thing is wrong. At all my other jobs I have been praised and awarded for the hard work and great job that I do! I love what I do and my job just hate knowing my management has no respect for me. Management- departments are not run correctly! More and more are continually being demanded of us without anything being taken off our plates or assistance for our leaders. When we ask for help we are told we apparently do not know how to do our jobs correctly. How is it fair that you keep asking us to do more work without anything else changing! We are people not robots that you can fit into a spread sheet. We work with live people. Management truly does not care about the patients we serve just the tasks that get completed. It’s a good thing our doctors and nurses truly care for the patients. Management is very quick to point out the flaws but not praise all the hard work your basic employees do! MANAGERS! YOU WOULD NOT A COMPANY WITHOUT THE PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR YOU! YOU NEED TO LEARN BASIC REPECT FOR ALL PEOPLE! NOT DRAMA FREE!! When you start employment at Iowa Ortho you are told this is a family and we are a drama free environment. This place is the furthest things from that. My own manager has gone and gossiped about me to other departments and it has gotten back to me! This is very unprofessional! Upper management has pushed out the good mangers and the ones that are left will use and stab anyone in the back for their own benefit. High Turn Over- this includes voluntary and in voluntary turnover. Basic employees are seen as a number and not as a valued member of the team!
