Thank you for your review of our company. Our former owner of iTech passed away unexpectedly in 2023 and the company has passed onto his daughter, Bailie Rouleau. Bailie is dedicated to preserving the integrity of iTech’s first class customer service for our clients, while bringing a fresh vision of equitable community for our staff. Bailie has brought in a former VP of Service and Delivery as COO, and together they have drafted a new and progressive employee package. From best option healthcare, to PTO, team activities, and paid continuing education, iTech is now actively seeking to learn from oversights of the past. We truly appreciate the time it took to leave this review. It helps to guide us toward a future for iTech that values the strengths of our employees while cultivating an inclusive and respectful workspace for current and future staff.

Small Company Woes

Pros

Small company so everyone knows each other and mostly get along. Lots of different kinds of IT experience to be earned.

Cons

Low salary, long hours, and no appreciation. Business hires basic knowledge/unexperienced employees so they can have low salaries. Owner/Boss is critical of everything although a few people "can do no wrong". Say they want to move people up but do not offer any guidance, time, or help on what would allow you to "move up" in the business. Most employees last 0-2 years before leaving for any of the above reasons.

Pros

The company gave me a chance to grow by hiring me with minimal experience, and I’ve gained invaluable knowledge since starting. They offer two hours of paid training weekly to work toward certifications, which is an outstanding perk. Drew, the head of the service team, is both incredibly knowledgeable and an excellent mentor. The team is down-to-earth, supportive, and always willing to lend a hand. There’s a strong emphasis on maintaining thorough notes and updating documentation, which are essential skills in the field. The customers are friendly, and I’ve never had a negative interaction with them. I’d highly recommend this job to anyone starting out in IT.

Cons

The pay could be more competitive.
