Pros

A lot of the staff is eager to help and will go above and beyond for coworkers.

Cons

Management does nothing to support staff. No room for growth. They are trying to grow too quickly without proper support, staff, training, money, etc. It is a brutal place to work and the CEO is one of the main culprits. Most people seem on the verge of a mental breakdown, including executives. It’s the furtherest thing from sustainable and I don’t foresee success for the company.

A CEO who levels UP

Pros

I work directly with the CEO, and I see firsthand how her company and its team members are her top priority. I watched her face complex challenges this year, and the first thing she thought to do was schedule one-on-one lunches with every employee to connect with them, express gratitude, listen to their feedback, and see how she could support them in their own professional growth. I’ve never heard of a CEO doing that. Running a rapidly growing company isn’t for the faint of heart. Making responsible decisions for your company and team can be tough and complicated. What I love about Kat is she’s always up for the challenge thinking about the company as a whole, which means success for everyone on the team. Always ready to shift perspectives, negotiate, or try something new for the greater good. I also see on the daily just how much she truly and deeply cares about her employees. And she shows this through her generosity. She always supports me, and I’m confident this company will continue to grow and succeed.

Cons

As the company services students and schools in 80 countries, the CEO and other members of her team are constantly on the go. This schedule requires the team to be nimble and adjust to last-minute calendar changes.

Great Place to Work

Pros

Supporting families across the globe as they navigate the admissions process is extremely rewarding and interesting work. In addition, company culture is extremely collaborative — everyone here is driven, hard-working, and wants to see their teammates succeed.

Cons

While it can be an exciting aspect of the job, no two days are the same, and especially as we scale, every employee wears a lot of hats. Based on company/client needs, priorities and tasks can rapidly shift day-to-day, which requires an incredible sense of flexibility, versatility, and attention to detail in order to keep up.
