- Salary is on time. - Heaven for writers and Instructional designers because they are treated as gods. "Management" and "Higher Management" will touch your feet daily and ask for your blessings. - Some teams do not have to work at all, they can just pass on their work(custom images) to others teams. If you are hired in such a team you will enjoy this company more than you enjoyed your college. - You will be thoroughly taken advantage of the fact that you are a fresher or if you are desperately looking for a job. If you will be reminded again and again that they have given you a chance.
Cons
The Designations and promotional structure is a bit confusing in this company. So, I'll clear that up. Graphics Team:- - You will be selected based on your technical skills in graphic software. - You will not work on any graphic software. - You will work on the client authoring tool your whole life. - You forget you were once a graphic person and will pass on your graphic work to other teams. - You have no such thing as priority. Priority is changed based on your manager's mood. Animators:- - You will be selected based on your knowledge and experience in animation. - You will not work on animations. - You will do the work that the graphics team has passed on to you. - You will be hired as a 2D animator but will be scorned if you cannot do 3D work. - You are also expected to work on Client authoring tool and if you refuse, then it means you are not willing to learn new things. Developers:- - You will be selected based on your knowledge in programming languages. - You will not work on those programming languages. - You will also work on Client Authoring Tool. - You will be the one to spend most of your time in the office and all you get in the name of food reimbursement is Rs 75. Testers:- - According to the management of the company, even auto rickshaw drivers can do testing. So, apparently no skills required. - You will work under a management who thinks themselves as the principal of Gurukul. Remember Parampara, Prathistha and Anusashan will take you a long way. - If you announce loudly every time you did a minor work, you will be noticed and promoted to Testing Lead. Associate Project Manager:- - You will be selected based on the experience and criteria of a Project Manager. - You will work a lot more than the Project Manager. - You will regularly think of beating and kidnapping your seniors. - You will gain 10 years worth of experience just by working 3 months in this company because that's how much work you are going to do. Project Manager:- - If the senior Management feels that they will need someone to blame in the upcoming project, you will be promoted to Project Manager. - If you wish to become a Project Manager but do not have the qualifications or the necessary skills, then leave the company without notice. Join back after 3 months and *poof* you are a Project Manager ready to blame everyone for everything. - If you are a project manager for writers then you will soon find out that they are gods and they cannot be managed. If by severe bad luck you are supposed to manage an ID, you will wish you rather opened a tea stall. Visualizers:- - You will be hired to visualize storyboards and come up with designs. - Any rules of the company do not apply to you. - Management is scared of assigning you any work since you'll mess up the whole project. - Politicians will come and beg for your advice since you have proved how you can blame others and save yourself. UI Developer:- - You will be selected based on your experience and knowledge in UI Development. - You will not work in UI Development. - You will be treated as Graphic Lead/Creative Director. - You should have knowledge of what's trending by browsing on internet all day and not do any actual work. - You should know the difference between brand style guide and product style guide. - You should have knowledge of words like 'New', 'Trending', '3D', 'Right' and 'Avenir'. - You should think Photoshop is old and not trending. Higher Management:- - You should be able to work on graphics, develop applications using just NotePad, do testing, work as HR, work as Project Manager and all other roles in the company, - Should have a leg in all the projects. - You should be able to tell stories of how you've worked day and night and how everyone should do the same. - Did I mention you need to be able develop an application by just using NotePad? Other than that, no food facilities, no proper drinking water, no infrastructure.
