Nobody helps you out. As a newbie, you need to figure things out on your own. They tell you to "go ask questions, other engineers will help you," but it's just a phrase they say, and they don't mean it. If you ask questions for a few times, they will start treating you like dirt and talk behind your back. My manager is hardly in his office.
