Not sure if James/Kevin are still running the ship, but they were both good dudes, and I wish I hadn’t gotten hired on when gas was $4 a gallon, otherwise I would have stayed. As an arcade and video gaming hobbyist, I not only learned to appreciate arcade games more, but learned more about each machine and their specifications as well. Kevin, Jim, Boss-Kevin, and David all taught me something useful one way or another within my first month. If JFH would rehire me, I would be back there tomorrow.
Cons
Our contract-holder loves to get rid of cabinets as opposed to finding aftermarket or 3D printed parts, which is insane as a preservation standpoint. Expect to rip out OEM CRTs every time they decide that the dithering has finally warped the image enough to justify such a mangled part swap. I wish the contract-holder understood the value of their cabinets enough to not want to replace OEM parts with LCD screens or outright remove them, finding NTSC/U.S.A/whatever you want to call American arcade cabinets in complete stock condition is going to be a huge pain over the next twenty to thirty years because many game owners didn’t care to maintain them properly. DeLorean’s are worth a ton in mint condition now too for pretty much the exact same reason.
