Pros

Team Lead in Pre-Collect for Akron Childrens The system that is used is Epic. The training I received from her, the team leader, helped me to get a job at an outstanding company.

Cons

This is one of the worst departments to work for. The managers in the Pre Collect department do not care about their employees. They make your life miserable every day and they wonder why they are constantly left with position openings. The openings are not because the client list is growing, it is because the employees are stressed, frustrated and treated like low-lifes. Heaven forbid you want to use your sick time or vacation time. Oh and if you have a doctors appointment or something suddenly comes up and you need to leave for an emergency, have fun fighting for that and if they do allow you to leave early, you will feel the guilt and consequences when you return. The managers in the Pre Collect department have absolutely no respect for their employees and they are the least approachable people within that entire company. If you are not one of their "favorites" you will be miserable everyday, all day. They do not appreciate how hard their employees work and they are never grateful, they just continue to expect more when they do nothing. They barely know any of the systems that the employees work on so they are no help when there is an issue and if their is an issue it is never their fault, always the employees. There is no room to move within the company and if you ask for a raise, they will say no and give you a $2 candle from Marcs as a "thanks" . IF a raise is given, its no more than $0.20 cents. You are able to get a bonus if the group hits all together but even if you go way above your target, you will not see that money, but I assure you the managers in the Pre Collect department will get their unearned share.
