Pros

Used to be great, used to do a great thing, help young people develop careers in the sector.

Cons

Morale, Blame culture, Backstabbing, Mgmt out of their depth and know how to destroy high quality motivated teams into scared individuals constantly looking over their shoulder. HR are scary.... Dont get on their 'elevator' as its just a matter of time before they do your legs. Saw it more than once.

Was great, now chaotic

Pros

Work from home, meet some great learners and clients, satisfaction from helping learners complete a qualification. Colleagues in team are great people who care.

Cons

Overworked with too many learners, terrible IT systems, over complicated processes at every turn hampering your ability to complete tasks. Management on a local level is fine but when it comes to the EMT they are clueless about the day to day running of the company. There is an obsession to move everything online however learners and employers in this industry like face to face contact. Changes and systems are implemented before they are ready in a sink or swim type approach and often are worse they the system or process they are trying to replace.

Great potential, poorly managed

Pros

Great regional team. Generally good T&Cs. More stable than other training providers

Cons

Poorly managed. No consulation with staff before major decisions are made and a general mistrust between various parts of the business. Communication is very poor from senior management and they seem very detached from the core business. IT systems also holding the company back massively and the whole company feels very inefficient. It's becoming increasingly hard to hide this from employers.
