      Great employees, very poor management

      Pros

      Community, diverse events and departments, childcare discounts and gym memberships for employees

      Cons

      Upper-level management is running the JCC into the ground and as a result turnover is high and a lot of employees worked in fear of losing their jobs and/or fed up with the ridiculously poor mismanagement of staff and funds.

      Pros

      Midlevel and lower staff are very nice.

      Cons

      This place is under new management. Everything has changed and 1/2 the staff been fired or quit.

      Great Team, Frustrating Work Environment

      Pros

      I worked with many different departments at the Denver JCC, and found that while the people were kind, team-oriented and well-meaning. Also, the facility itself was pleasant to work in. Being around a community was also great.

      Cons

      The institutional red tape and lack of leadership from above paralyzed employees below. Also, questionable allocation of staff provided little confidence in leadership. With that said, much of the leadership at the top has been replaced, which may have caused change more recently.
