I joined this company as an entry level recruiter. I had friends who had joined recruitment firms and done well. - low salary - no commission (it’s a sales job!) - very bully like culture, outdated culture with certain phrases used about minorities consistently all day and openly (very upsetting) - Jim (owner) would send junior staff to get his lunch and to the shop at the end of the day to get vodka or other alcohol and then berate you if you got the wrong thing. - they treat drivers and their temporary staff very poorly, people often on the breadline, withholding pay and making them go to jobs they don’t want to go to usually because they are miles away from home ! - They lie to clients, the business has about 4 main clients where it’s turnover comes from completely unsustainable - dogs running around the office barking all day, they are actually treated better than the staff so that’s one thing. Please do not degrade yourself to work at this place. Please have more self respect, many Birmingham firms pay higher salary and earning potential.
