These are not good people.

Pros

Smart and competent associate attorneys.

Cons

This firm does not care about their clients or their employees. They say they are lawyers for the workers, but all they care about is what’s in it for them. If you Google them you will find poor reviews from clients and a libel suit against them. Partners treat associates terribly no matter how hard they work. When I was there they fired an associate without warning (as is their right), but they did it over email. Not in person, or over zoom, they couldn’t even bother to pick up the phone. Don’t work for these cowards.

Josephson Dunlap, LLP is shocked that anyone would say or write such demonstrably false claims. Our firm employs over 30 people--most of who have been here over 3 years. Our team is dedicated to helping workers recover their unpaid overtime. Its disappointing that someone who was let go from the firm would so recklessly attack the JD Team and all the good work that they do. Shame on you! Its one thing be upset for getting let go but its another to spread lies and misinformation. We hope that this former employee finds a new opportunity that's a better fit.

Pros

Good pay, has individual health insurance plans & PTO after a certain point. Depending on your supervisor, good feedback. They like to promote internally, but may give you the run around.

Cons

Gossipy environment (some other employees will talk about you behind your back), if you make 70+ calls a day expect that to be your new average and be questioned if you don't reach that goal. Mandatory overtime -- you are expected to make calls on a rotation until 11pm because "everyone does it". WFH opportunities didn't apply to my position.

This review is disappointing. First we don't have any part time employees. Everyone is full-time. That said if someone works for our firm and has these feelings they should raise it with management instead of falsely claiming that the firm and its management are bad. Most of our team of 30 + people have been here longer than 3 years and everyone works incredibly hard to help our clients. To suggest that we "steal" or that we are a disease is terribly wrong and untrue. We spend countless hours every month trying to make sure our team is happy and productive. In all the years of managing people, we have never heard of any concern which is even remotely close to the claims in this review. Had we heard that someone was so angry or upset we would have intervened to try to improve their work experiences. We wish this person the best of luck and hope they find happiness in the work place.
