Pros

Recent round of funding for $50 million.

Cons

Where to start: 1) Activtrak- If you've never heard of it, look it up and read other reviews. This was implemented within the past year and tracks every employees key stroke and mouse movement down to the second. They will write you up and fire you. They have fired dozens of employees already. There is zero trust in team members. 2. Leadership- A few members of the Executive team are unethical. One Executive shared with multiple employees that the CEO went around during a company event in Las Vegas polling some employees on who should be fired on the leadership team. This led to the firing of 2 Executives/Senior Leaders a few months later. Sadly this is partly how decisions are made. If you play the politics game correctly, you can grow here. 3. Engineering- A culture of fear and toxicity. You are ridiculed through slack channels and on meetings in front of peers.

Pros

Nice people on the team

Cons

I started my position and onboarding process - 1 week later I get called into a session with my direct manager. Manager proceeds to tell me that they use ActivTrak(if you don't know what it is, please google it) which has been monitoring my every move since I started. They micromanage down to the minute and don't trust you to do your job.

Pros

- Competitive compensation for the industry

Cons

- Leadership has a 1950's mindset of how a workplace should be and how to treat workers. - It doesn't matter how many hours you put in above the expected--I regularly work 55+ hours per week, sometimes 80--if you're not "in" you are don't have a chance of getting promotion. - Overall an unprofessional environment. IMO this makes it less productive than if it were a bit more relaxed and friendly. - Managers have a need-to-know mentality about assignments, which doesn't work well when you are engineering a solution, since they decided what it is that you "need" to know. - I've had negative feedback on my work without any details or specifics, just vague remarks. It kind of seemed like they were just trying to avoid having to give me a pay increase. At least if there was any detail of what I did wrong I might believe them. - Culture is very toxic.
