These people have reclaimed a lot of soil and cleaned up sites that no one else could

No training No pay raise schedule No career development or advancement No diversity and inclusion program No anti-discrimination policy No anti-harassment policy for LGBTQ No professional project management, which leads to a lot of waste and scrambling at the last minute Too much emphasis on utilization while not giving employees enough billable work Branch offices keep closing as we lose people High turnover of mid and early career staff Lack of communication between senior management and field workers

Pros
My coworkers are great and always jump in to help. The principals that make up senior leadership have incredible experience and have mentored me a lot. The projects in the field are interesting from a technical perspective and it feels good to do work that helps better the environment. I have learned a lot about a lot of different things here, things I wouldn't have been exposed to elsewhere. The company is small, so everyone knows each other and watches out for each other. The company cares about our safety and makes sure we have all the right training and gear.
Cons
Workload can change quickly and be very fast paced at times. Your role can be very diverse at times. Some people can't handle that kind of work.
