Medium-sized firm with large pool of clients but too little staff
Pros
Clients from many industries like construction, gas pipeline, car subscription etc., helpful colleagues, seniors and semi-seniors willing to teach new and junior staff, audit managers are very knowledgeable and will also patiently explain when got question from junior staff, uses CCH Prosystem Fx audit software
Cons
Pay is too low for the workload given, no training given to new employees and some clients are difficult to handle. But biggest con is the firm severely understaffed, mainly because no effort is made towards staff retention. In short, this firm is good if you want to get experience in audit with diverse clients from various industries, if you don't mind the low salary and huge workload and stress, especially during busy season.
