      Avoid at All Costs!

      Pros

      Casual dress code, most people are friendly, but really there's nothing else good to say. I'm struggling just to fill this box.

      Cons

      Everything else. Upper management who pushes their political opinions, pay, location, training, procedures, just about anything you can think of.

      Good Place to learn, but don't plan on staying long

      Pros

      Good place to learn. They have a lot of older applications that are constantly being updated with new features. Some written well, some not, but nothing too complicated.

      Cons

      Not a place for a senior developer. The work just does not warrant it - for the apps they have, there really isn't any room for architecture changes, and the work isn't enough to have more than one developer at a time. OOH - the medical benefits suck!

      Pros

      They'll teach you how to do everything you need to know to do your job. Much better than the bigger companies, who expect you to know how to do everything before you start. You also get a lot of exposure to a lot of different technologies, real, hands on experience, not just looking at it from afar.

      Cons

      Pay is not very good. As you can imagine with poor pay and a willingness to hire inexperienced people, there is basically no mentorship and everything is very chaotic. Company owner is not the best at projection of revenue and constant turnover leaves things in "scramble mode" all the time.
