We were surprised by your feedback. We continually strive to make Kagan a great place to work so we regret that Kagan was not a good fit for you. Kagan has been recognized as a “Top Workplace” in Orange County for the last 8 consecutive years. This recognition is awarded based on a 3rd party survey of our team members. Thank you for your contributions to Kagan and to the teachers we serve. We wish you the best in your future endeavors. Human Resources

Very Poor Management and Poor Environment

Pros

Close to the beach. Have events. Ping pong table that you can use on break and lunch.

Cons

Very disorganized management. Coworkers are rude unless you are with the "in crowd." Felt worse than high school. Unless you are a robot, you will not like working here. They do not allow talking and discourage comradery within the workplace. I think that the management should be more open to new ideas. Working 40+ hours somewhere should be somewhat enjoyable and I think that management has been there too long to realize that they have not changed with the times. If you are a new employee here, good luck. The cliques here are like nothing I have ever seen at a workplace. There are much better companies out there!

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your experience during your short employment with Kagan. Your experience did not live up to our goal of making Kagan a great place to work and our accolades as a Top Orange County Workplace. We conduct internal surveys of team members for continual improvement. We also receive the results of third party surveys. Team members consistently rate Kagan’s environment and Kagan’s management team very highly. I am sorry to learn that your experiences were anything less than positive. We respectfully disagree with the assertion that Kagan does not encourage camaraderie as that is the intent of our many programs and activities including picnics, parties, celebrations, restaurant outings, and teambuilding activities and excursions. We agree that work should be enjoyable and we will continue to work towards that goal for all our team members. Thank you again for your constructive feedback. I hope that you have found meaningful employment that is a good fit for you. Human Resources Manager

Pros

Meaningful work, great benefits, perfect atmosphere, and fantastic people to work with.

Cons

The work can be hard and challenging. 9 hour days are tough, but the half day Fridays are worth it.
