Pros
The company in general is good. Family-oriented. 1. The management decided to offer life insurances to regular employees this 2023, which was only offered before from the position of officer and above. 2. They have voluntary bereavement programs for regular employees, bonuses from officer and above only (1 or 2x/year). 3. Possible scholarship offers to the children of regular employees. 4. Paid leaves & HMO upon regularization.
Cons
1. Fixed number of leaves. It will not increase yearly. Remaining SL can be converted to cash from officers and above only. 2. Bonuses (1-2x/year) are given to officers and above only. What incentives are given to those people who does the most work? 3. Immediately & officially implementing processes without further testing to see the pros and cons. Not involving group of people that are affected in the process. 4. Sometimes, the employee is given tasks that are not in line with their job description. If the employee is a buyer for example, he/she will be given tasks in line with maintenance, IT, RSM, marketing, finance, etc. 5. Politics & favoritism: Promotion is awarded to those people who are favored. 6. Scapegoat/Bait: The management will chose an employee to spearhead a certain project. That employee will then give his/her best to implement and execute the project, and will be doing that task for a long period of time only to find out that it will be assigned to someone else. 7. No respect for day-off: If an employee works in the HO with a fixed schedule of 8AM-5PM Mon-Fri, the employee must accommodate calls during the weekends, in their day-offs. If the employee does not answer the concern of the branches, the management will call his/her attention and be scolded upon even if the employee did nothing wrong.
