      Not a "holocracy"

      Pros

      -great product -mostly great people; past and present -good pay -coaching can be a good outlet of frustration -unlimited PTO -startup snacks

      Cons

      -career growth is almost impossible with the current setup -lack of leadership -lack of planning; budgets were rarely set and approved in advance -employees take advantage of PTO & option to work remote, causing delays in deadlines and loss of interest -absence of employees on days like Fridays made company culture seem lazy -shared spaces rarely clean due to persons who lack skills in cleaning up after themselves causing space to feel unwelcome

      Pros

      Keen and its owner, Scaleworks, try to take care of its employees. The office is in downtown San Antonio and is very nice. Parking is provided in a garage. There is a fully stocked kitchen with drinks and snacks. The team is generally helpful and willing to work together. There are occasional after-work happy hour events that are fun.

      Cons

      The benefits above on the surface sound and appear great, under the surface it is not great at all. In the past year, poor management has caused a third of the company to leave on their own volition. Management historically has set the bar very high when recruiting employees and failed on every level to follow through with even basic promises causing them to flee. As a result, the remaining employees have taken on multiple new tasks to maintain business continuity.

      - people development programs; 1 on 1 coaching, learning labs on effective communication and emotional intelligence - big opportunity to be part of a huge success story in the data space - startup mentality provides quick learning, fast iteration, and growth - flexible working arrangements

      Cons

      - CEO has strong vision but doesn't listen to his customers or employees. He would be well-served to make them feel heard. Ego. Poor communicator - Disengaged founders - Product is robust, powerful, and complex but there's very poor product leadership. Product tries to be everything to everyone
