Pros

Pretty location and nice co-workers.

Cons

This is the worst place I have ever worked in my career so far. The salary was insulting in the extreme, and the HR dept. lies to you repeatedly. They laid talented hardworking people off with no warning, no benefits, no severance, and all because absentee management in NY had to have another million added to their salaries. The whole time I worked there I was interviewing for other jobs. I couldn't wait to get out. I was supposed to be paid for long hours of overtime I was 'forced' to work, and which I did willingly and to the best of my ability, even saving their skins when other employees decided going to an event was more important to them. I had a SIGNED contract for the overtime. The absentee managers broke the contract, and did not pay me for that time---many, many hours. I could not even pay for both food and heat because the salary was ridiculous and to add insult to injury, they took more than a third of it for insurance premiums for coverage that was miserable! Due to my re-design work alone, I increased their sales by at least 6% in as many months and was shown no appreciation, and in fact was lied to, laid off when they dissolved a whole dept., and treated with no respect at all. I didn't find the new job before the layoff, and I wish I had because nothing would have given me more satisfaction than to have walked into HR, told them to take the job and well, you know, and walk out the door. The culture and values of management of this company is beyond poor. They are sneaky, greedy liars who fail their dedicated hardworking employees.

Pros

No pros. The owers are whack jobs who show up occasional ex or the wife. They treat her like garbage. They have cats dining around the office (ewwww unsanitary) I have 29 years experience they offered $25/ not 40 hours and your medical is $600 two weeks. The alleged Coo lives granola and added all. Never there when you need here but everything you do and say will be wrong if she answers at all.

Cons

Everything about this place is a joke. They act like they are running sweat shops over seas. I was there 2 months and handed in my key

Pros

Great Co-workers, beautiful fabrics, creative and inspiring atmosphere!

Cons

F+W Media owned Keepsake for a few years and most of us were laid off. Luckily, KQ was bought by a great fabric company who brought back many creative and talented people and is still going strong.
