Exciting product, good team, great CEO! Would 100% recommend.
Pros
- Good pay for Portuguese standards (in the Lisbon office); - Very Respecful to all their employees; I was always treated with respect from the first day to the last day. - Flexible; - Great Product, the product is great and that is very exciting. - Exciting Team to be around, including the CEO. Tomás is a very inspiring individual, very passionate about the company, the product. All that energy really brings the team together and keeps everyone believing everything will work. I definitely recommed it has a company overall even though you will be frustated at times there.
Cons
- Due to being such an early stage company things can be quite unpredictable. My role within the company ended up being much different than what I initially thought and was promised. Although it's easy to understand why it happened, this can be very frustating. I Felt "under utilized within the team, the same reason you don't play a Center at Point Guard in basketball, you should play your employees to their strengths. - Wish they were a little bit more empathetic at the time of my leave. They downplayed my motivations and questioned my commitment to the team which did not sit too well with me even though I 100% understand their side. Just felt it wasn't too fair given that I have always given everything I had to do my job well, even beyond what was asked, because I believed (and still believe) in the mission of the company. So it was definitely disappointing to know that when I needed their support the most, they were very quick to cast me aside using minor mistakes as a way to justify it.
