It worked out for me that the executive director and others were easily manipulated. But a lot of staff are underpaid and under appreciated. I received a promotion over someone with much more experience. The director spends all of his time atttending community events and meeting with politicians, so he doesn’t really know what’s going on in the branches. He creates jobs for incompetent employees (usually higher pay) instead of firing them. Staff get too involved in your personal business.
