Pros

Honestly there are no pros

Cons

Do not be DECEIVE by this new account. Company original Glassdoor in under the company name KINOHIMITSU. Lots of horrible but true reviews. Top level management are all family members and give themselves high position and pay while doing nothing and having absolutely no skills whatsoever. Have no respect for employee time and expect employee to serve them like slaves. Same goes to the managers. Always hiring incompetent managers who have zero skill like themselves Lousy pay lousy benefits no career progression and horrible management style. Extremely toxic environment with several employees leaving EVERY MONTH. Please do yourself a favour and go search in their real glass door under the name Kinohimitsu. It will open your eyes to how horrible this company truly is. You’re welcome.

Pros

At the moment, no pros at all.

Cons

God help this company. It's a masterclass in how to fail spectacularly. The same clueless management runs both Malaysia and Singapore offices straight into the ground. The bosses have zero vision just a family circus where promotions go to pets, relatives, and professional bootlickers. Talent? Doesn’t stand a chance. Their business decisions are a joke. They’re literally being led around by the company’s useless favorites—people who wouldn’t know a good strategy if it bit them. The ship is sinking, one foot is already underwater, and these captains are still arguing about who gets to hold the map... upside down. They have money, but no brains. They have meetings, but no solutions. They demand innovation but mock anyone who suggests it. Stay 3 hours late? No pay. Dare to be late to work? Prepare for an interrogation and a written explanation. It’s like committing a crime against the state—all while they throw you a bread roll for dinner and call it “team bonding.” Out of 10 employees, 1 is a brainwashed loyalist. The other 9 are counting down the days until they escape. This isn’t a company—it’s a tragedy wrapped in a joke. Avoid at all costs. And if you’re feeling generous, just whisper: “May God have mercy on this mess.” Save yourself. Don’t walk—RUN!!

Pros

Cons

Note: The company name is Kino Biotech, but the brand it carries is Kinohimitsu. • Conflicting leadership: The four bosses regularly disagree, making decision-making a nightmare and slowing down approvals. • Old-fashioned, rigid management: Leadership is stuck in traditional ways and resistant to innovation or change, creating a stagnant workplace. • Lack of respect for expertise: Anyone can weigh in on specialized matters, even if they’re not qualified. When things go wrong, the team is left holding the bag despite specialists’ input being ignored. • Narcissistic management: Bosses manipulate employees into taking on extra work without empathy or regard for their personal needs. • Tight budgets: Management constantly pushes for “wise spending” with extremely limited resources, making it hard to perform effectively. • Exploiting employees: Attempts to dodge paying overtime by labeling mandatory events as “team bonding” until staff push back and demand fair compensation. • Unrealistic expectations: Employees are often pushed to take on tasks outside their skill set, labeled as “progression,” but without adequate support or development opportunities. • Frequent last-minute changes: Decisions are often reversed or altered last minute, causing confusion and wasted effort. • Unreasonable external demands: Employees are pressured to get rush work from external partners, sometimes asking for free services or extreme discounts. • Poor hiring practices: The company hires based on salary expectations rather than on fit for the role, leading to underqualified employees. • No investment, sky-high expectations: Management demands excellent results but won’t invest in the necessary resources to meet those demands. • Invasive monitoring: Management keeps tabs on employees’ social media and scrutinizes leave requests, fostering an environment of mistrust. • Micromanagement: Constant oversight of employee tasks and efficiency, even during regular meetings, with little trust in staff. • Stingy perks: Staff benefits are minimal, and employees are sometimes given expired or near-expired items as “perks.” • Inconsistent policies: Employees can stay late without compensation, but if they are late, their salary is docked. The company lacks fairness and consistency in its policies.
