We are sorry you did not enjoy the short time you worked with Kirkpatrick & Associates. We are primarily a hospitality design and procurement firm. Our innovative design is focused on meeting the needs of clients within their budgets and within the standards set by the property's franchise. Often creativity has to be matched to franchise standards and the owner's budget. Our designs are not dated but have to meet standards that we often do not set. We have been successful with getting franchises to accept new standards, suppliers and designs. These designs have been used as brand standards and in national advertising campaigns. We have produced, and continue to produce, award wining projects. Most of our projects are for returning clients. We work closely with and have good relationships with our vendors and sales representatives. They often use our facilities to present continuing education seminars for the local architecture and design community. We do not agree that we hire based on belief and not qualification. While the reviewer was employed we did hire one temporary employee to answer phones, file, help in our retail operation and remove discontinued samples from the library. The temporary employee was a member of our church that we did not know before the interview. We have never hired based on religious affiliation. We are always under a deadline, and it gets busy. That is why we would love to have more qualified designers. Please apply as we are currently hiring. We need people who can handle working on more than one project at a time.
