Cons
Colleagues: Experienced staff only stick together like a clique, leaving the newbies out. I’ve also overheard them talking petty and nasty things about us new part-timers behind their backs. One of them even went as far as to belittle someone to the point where they cried. The person who cried reported it to the higher ups, but they didn’t do anything about it because they are so biased towards the big bully simply because they are friends with one another. Money: I get and understand the salary for the indoor playground itself. However, for events they should definitely up the amount. $9 per hour to shift gigantic displays or heavy objects under poor conditions. I’ve seen other events pay much better and I regret signing up for this not knowing what I will go through. (Mind you, the application had little to no description on what the job entails: only tells you the ticketing part and not having to do literal labour)
