Pros

Nothing. The rudest, most arrogant people you will ever work for. Disgustingly rude to senior staff and no job security. I've seen people get fired over the most RIDICULOUS things but the contract is such a joke that they can fire you for virtually anything- its borderline illegal. No HR, the only people you can complain to are the buying team and CEO's assistants who spend all their time telling sales team horrible things she does to them and spilling secrets about her personal life.

Cons

Worst company I've ever worked for- don't be fooled by any of the good reviews! They are fake and written by the CEO assistants because of how many bad reviews there were before. The hours are awful, always understaffed as they fire people for no reason and then don't hire anyone else for months. You are expected to have two employees on the shop floor each day but there are only ever two employees working on one day- we need lunch and the stock room is downstairs so this is impossible! Lunch breaks are about 15 minutes and you can only eat downstairs in the stock room in case the CEO shows up- you must run upstairs so it looks like there are two people on the shop floor. CEO and buying team are horrifically rude. They all sat terrible things about each other, particularly about the CEO who everyone is so scared of its comedic when she turns up, and then blame staff for saying the things that came out of their mouths resulting in people being fired.

Pros

None, so ever. I wish I could say something positive

Cons

Blaming and punishment from the retail director and COO are the norms in which they gossip about EVERYONE, including their boss. - Little or strained interaction between employees due to the atmosphere created from the top. - Overworking is a badge of honour and is expected. - Employee suggestions are discarded. People are afraid to give honest feedback. - Micromanaging -Little to no autonomy is given to employees in performing their jobs.

Pros

if you like drama you will be in your element. snacks. koibird vouchers for birthday and christmas.

Cons

where to begin.. a very large number of staff members have left in 2023 (redundancy, fired, new jobs) so its very likely you will be expected to do the work of several roles. expected to go into the office (up 4 flights of stairs with a 2-person lift that people have got trapped in) 5 days a week (yes, in a post-pandemic word). flexible working simply isnt a thing there, but of course that doesn't apply to certain members of staff. people protested about the additional costs this would involve for travel etc and were ignored. zero transparency about anything, its impossible to know who or what to trust. bonuses are given randomly with no communication as to how these might be attained. Favouritism is rife but favourites also get dropped swiftly Little development opportunity or mentoring. skills, effort and experience of staff is often not acknowledged or respected leading to a general disillusionment.
