I had the unfortunate experience of working at Konnected Concepts, and I must say it was an incredibly disheartening and frustrating time. The management, particularly our boss, had a habit of shouting at employees, creating a hostile and demoralizing work environment. One of the most pressing concerns revolved around the persistently delayed commission payments. Receiving the compensation we had rightfully earned became an ongoing battle, leading to significant financial strain for many of us. What exacerbated this situation was the fact that the owner, Mehari Gebrekidan, provided different employees with inconsistent payment amounts for identical tasks, all without offering any transparent explanations or justifications. Adding to the frustration, I was initially hired as his Executive Assistant, but suddenly, he completely reassigned the responsibilities associated with the role. Furthermore, the workload at Konnected Concepts was unmanageable. They inundated us with endless meetings and trainings leaving little time to actually complete the tasks they assigned. It felt like they expected us to work an impossible number of hours to keep up with their demands. Perhaps the most humiliating aspect of working there was the owner's habit of putting employees on the spot during video calls. This public humiliation not only eroded our self-esteem but also created a culture of fear and anxiety within the team. In summary, I strongly advise against working at Konnected Concepts. The management's behavior, the inadequate compensation structure, the excessive workload, and the owner's (Mehari Gebrekidan) unpredictable and erratic behavior, make it a truly toxic work environment that I would not wish upon anyone.
