There was a complete lack of feedback in the last year there. The management felt it more important to tell their friends about issues rather than bringing them up with me. The issues they were having troubles with were things that I would have been able to work on but I was kept in the dark until I was fired. Lack of escalation plan - problems go from there is no problem to you're fired. Poor culture - with the lack of communication and most management communication happening behind closed doors, issues arose that were not communicated including some that were blatantly untrue. A couple of the managers bad-mouth other employees and belittle their efforts and work. No compassion, no understanding; after a difficult trip in which I missed my stepfather's funeral and while trying to deal with the death they decided to fire me without warning. Poor feedback and reasoning for firing me. They dumped all the reasons on me without acknowledging any of their own shortcomings.

About 70% of the software department was fired, some in very bad form, in 2019. Almost none of the original people work there now, and company culture has suffered dramatically. Management has made it very clear they do not care about their workers, they are easily replaceable.
