Pros

Good mission, Nice location, International exposure

Cons

They don't always honor their promises to new hires. A large portion of new hires are terminated within a couple years. The management has obvious favorite employees.

First off, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate hearing that our mission, headquarters, and the international exposure you gained through our global platform were things you considered positives. We’re disappointed, however, to hear that you feel Kuder doesn’t honor promises to new hires. We’re committed to onboarding new employees and setting them up for success for growth and development. We recently implemented meet-and-greet sessions with catered lunches so new hires can meet all of our in-house associates and get to know each other in a relaxed setting. We have an average employee tenure of six plus years, and we’re pretty proud of that. We’re sorry Kuder didn't work out for you, and we wish you the best in your next chapter.

Fundamental Issues

Pros

Half day Fridays and great benefits package. The gifted Christmas time is a huge one too. Hard working associates are the backbone of the organization. The organization has gotten slightly more progressive over the years, for example a more relaxed dress code and the ability to work from home during the pandemic.

Cons

There's a lot of potential, but some core issues stand in the way. The root of most of the issues come down to nepotism, micromanagement, and its business model. A quarter of the leadership is of relation and certain "contractors" are also of some relation. At times there is conflicting direction given from family members, leaving employees in awkward situations. Efforts were announced this year for more diversity and inclusion, but because the diversity is bottom-weighted it's not reflected in leadership. Theres also a hyperfocus on productivity which leads to micromanagement. This can leave employees who routinely go the extra mile feeling undervalued especially when recognition is given to those at the top.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback and perspective. We appreciated that you pointed out a few positives in your review: our gifted Christmas time, benefits package, and our 4.5-day work week. We’re disappointed to hear your experience was a negative one overall. Our hope is that all Kuder employees feel their experience here is one that reflects our mission. Your feedback is helpful so we can build on our strengths and improve what's not working.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Pros

Benefits are good: 4.5 day work week; insurance premium paid for all employees (just the employee, not their spouse/families); typically closed Christmas Eve through New Years Day and employees don't use PTO for that. The CEO is a really positive, generous, and likeable person.

Cons

Chaotic, reactive environment. President is a major micromanager with unrealistic expectations and zero interpersonal relationship/communication skills. Nepotism galore. Strategic vision constantly changes on a whim, making the accomplishment of individual or departmental annual goals nearly impossible. High turnover. Positions and titles change so much that eventually they don't mean anything. Salary increases are few and far between, and laughable when they do take place.
